

Overview of renting rules and regulations
Fees
Rentals can be from 3 days to 3 months, and are charged per night. The fee is for the apartment not per person, although the apartment's maximum sleeping capacity must be respected.
Every apartment has a high season rate (corresponding to the periods of French school holidays :

for 2011 : the 1st and 2 january, from 12 february to 13 march, from 9 april to 8 may, from 2 to 5 june, from 11 to 13 june, from 2 july to 4 september, from 22 october to 2 november, from 11 to 13 november and from 17 december and the first january 2012 ;
-
for 2012
: monday 1er january, from 11 february to 4 march , from 7 april to 29 april, from 17 may to 20 may, from 26 may to 28 may, from 7 july to 31 august, from 20 october to 4 november and from 22 december to 31 december
;
-
and a low season rate, which is the rest of the year.
The per-night rate reduces as the length of the stay increases :
- 7% reduction on the per night fee for over 8 days
- 15% reduction on the per night fee for over 31 days.
There are no extra costs incurred for :
- water, gas and electricity,
- agency fees,
- pre arrival cleaning,
- sheets and towels,
- internet, telephone (limited access) and cable TV where appropriate.
Only a 0.35€ daily "taxe de sejour" . The latter is French law for all hotels and accommodation.
Confirmation by deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total of your fee is required to confirm your reservation.
You also pay eventualy the fee for your optional extras, at this stage. This deposit is to be paid on line via a secure credit / debit card paying site.
After this payment, an email confirming your reservation will be sent with :
- A bill with breakdown of fees.
- a full breakdown of the apartment's details and location.
Payment of the balance
The outstanding balance of your stay is to be paid upon arrival, in cash and in Euros.
You are then provided with a contract, duly signed by both parties. No keys are provided until the payment procedure is fully completed.

Inventory and damage deposit
An inventory is carried out in your presence, both when you arrive and when you leave. The amount of the damage deposit is as follows and varies according to the size of the apartment :
- Up to 50m2 , 500€ deposit.
- 51 to 100m2, 800€ deposit.
- 100m2 and above, 1000€ deposit.
Insurance
You should take note that you are responsible for damage to neighbours' property resulting from misuse or negligence in the apartment you are renting, during the time you are there.
For example, damage caused by leaving taps on, or by misuse of gas or electic devices. You are advised to take out insurance to cover this eventuality, upon your arrival in the apartment.
Arrivals – Departures
Your arrival :
Arrival times are between 3pm and 8pm.
When you make your reservation, we will ask you to tell us your exact arrival time so that one of our agents can be there to greet you at the apartment.
If you are going to be late it is essential that you let us know, either by contacting the agency or by contacting the number provided when you make your booking. A late arrival (by over an hour) that we weren't warned about, incurs a 20euro surcharge. There is also a 20€ surcharge for arrivals after 8pm or on Sundays or French national Holidays.
Departure :
Departures are from 8am til noon. Our agent will come to the apartment at a time you agreed with him or her for the inventory check, the damage deposit money return and to take back the keys. A 20€ supplement will be charged in the case of delays of over an hour here, or if you need to leave before 8 am or on a Sunday or French national holiday.
Using the accommodation
When making the reservation and signing the contract, the tenant undertakes to abide by the following rules :
- To use the accommodation as a temporary residence, and for private reasons during his or her business or leisure stay in Toulouse. Under no circumstances can the accommodation be used for commercial , professional, or artistic purposes.
- To oversee that the accommodation is only being used by the person who has signed the contract and his or her companions, and to ensure that there are never more people staying there than the accommodation is intended to sleep.
- To keep the premises in good condition, and in keeping with the inventory established upon arrival.
- To do nothing that may be a nuisance to neighbours. In case of a complaint by a neighbour caused by persons in the accommodation, the person who signed the contract will be held responsible.
- To abide by all instructions, rules and bylaws concerning hygiene, safety, road travel, the police, salubrity and tranquility of the public.
Pets : Unless we specifically mention otherwise, pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Cancellation
By the client :
All cancellations need to be sent to us in writing. Sejouratoulouse.com is entitled to keep the 30% deposit, and, only if the cancellation is made within 30 days of the arrival date, the client will be asked to pay the balance. If the rental period is shortened during the stay, no refund for unoccupied days can be given.
By Sejouratoulouse.com :
In the exceptional case of the accommodation becoming unavailable during the dates you booked, Sejouratoulouse will relocate you to an apartment of a similar or superior standing, which will be located as close as possible to the accommodation you chose, for the same price. In the case where another satisfactory option is not available, we will provide a full refund of everything you have paid us.
